Argema manufactures CNC glass drilling machines for all necessary drilling operations on glass, whether for individual or batch production. The first local CNC glass drilling machine in this field in Turkey was produced by Argema in 2007 and exhibited at the Istanbul CNR Glass and Window Fair in 2009. Since then, it has designed CNC glass drilling machines for prominent companies in our country, continuously evolving to offer its services. Argema classifies its CNC glass drilling machines as manual loading and inline production machines. In both categories, the number of drilling head pairs and the size of the worktable are determined according to customer needs.

INLINE CNC GLASS DRILLING MACHINES

The CNC HD2 100×60 Multi-Head CNC Horizontal Glass Drilling Machine is designed and manufactured as a high-quality line machine for use in your facility.

  • Your drilling operations are reliable, flexible, and fast.
  • Independently operating head groups position simultaneously for each hole distributed on the glass. Thus, time is not wasted for non-sequential holes in the y and x axes.
  • The minimum distance between two holes is 130 mm.
  • The maximum glass dimensions are 1000 mm in length and 600 mm in width. The minimum glass dimensions are 80 mm in width and 300 mm in length.
  • X, Y, Z axis motors and spindle motors are driven by servo motors.
  • The axis movement and positioning speed is 1 m/s.
  • The maximum hole diameter is 40 mm (may vary based on customer request).
  • The minimum glass thickness is 4 mm and the maximum glass thickness is 10 mm.
  • The machine consists of a front conveyor, conveyor table, rear conveyor, drilling head, and body parts.
  • The conveyor table operates as a belt conveyor and consists of horizontal transport bars that open and close based on the holes in the glass, as well as glass referencing units. ROBOTIC CARRIER INLINE CNC GLASS DRILLING MACHINES

The first of the carrier robots rotates the referenced glass 90 degrees at the reference table and places it on the suction cup drilling table. The other robot transports the finished drilled glass to the final conveyor. With this system, it is possible to drill holes on glass panels with a width of 80 mm simultaneously. The operation of the suction cup carrier robots is asynchronous. This concept is the first application of its kind in the world.
